What Makes a Good Corporate Gifting Company — and Where HYV Fits

Most corporate gifting companies in India do not make anything. They take your brief, buy from a manufacturer, add a margin and manage the project. That is a real service and sometimes the right one — but it is worth knowing which kind of company you are talking to, because it determines your price, your lead time, and who is accountable when 40 units arrive with a fault.

This page is the honest version of "why us": what to ask any gifting supplier, what HYV does differently, and the things we are the wrong choice for.

Five questions that separate suppliers

1. Do you manufacture this, or source it? An aggregator's price contains a layer you are paying for. It also means the person answering your quality question is relaying it to someone else.

2. What certification does the product hold, and on which models? Certification in India is granted per product, never per brand. "Our range is certified" is a sentence that should prompt a follow-up question.

3. Is branding done in-house? If engraving is subcontracted, your lead time is two companies' schedules, and artwork problems travel slowly.

4. What happens to a faulty unit? Ask before the PO, not after. A reseller's answer usually involves the manufacturer's policy.

5. What is the real lead time for the colour I want? Stock and made-to-order are different businesses. Anyone who gives you one number for both has not checked.

Where HYV actually sits

HYV Healthtech manufactures insulated stainless steel drinkware in India at 50,000+ pieces per month, sells that range direct to consumers at livehyv.com, and produces under other brands. So a gifting client is buying from the company that made the object, at the price the factory sets.

What that changes in practice:

Price. No importer, trading house or brand licensor takes a cut before your quote. Minimum is 25 units per SKU.

Lead time. Colours held in stock dispatch in 3 to 5 working days, and laser engraving is done in-house, so branding adds a day or two rather than a second company's queue. A colourway we do not stock is 60 to 90 days from artwork approval — we tell you which applies before you commit.

Accountability. A manufacturing defect is replaced by the people who made it. Raise it within 7 days with photographs; we do not ask you to ship a consignment back to prove a fault.

A claim your recipients can check. Five models hold BIS IS 17526:2021 — LuxeSip, LuxeFlow, MagFlex, CoreFlow and ChillSip — the Indian standard for vacuum insulated stainless steel containers. Certification is per product, so those five are named rather than the range being waved at. The rest of the range is not certified, which is exactly the kind of thing worth saying out loud.

What we are the wrong company for

A multi-category hamper. We make insulated steel drinkware and nothing else — no dry fruit, no candles, no leather, no electronics. If your brief is a curated hamper across six categories, an aggregator will serve you better and we will say so on the call.

Orders under 25 units. Below that you are genuinely better off buying at retail on livehyv.com, where volume discounts start at ₹2,500.

A logo printed in four colours. Laser etching is cut into the steel and is single-tone by nature. It outlasts the gift; it will not reproduce a gradient.

A date inside 3 days for a colour we do not stock. We will tell you it is not possible rather than accept the order and miss.

What a gifting programme costs to run

Pricing is per unit and exclusive of GST, tiered by quantity from 25 units upward, with the live rate card on the trade price list. Etching is charged per unit, flat at every quantity — no setup fee, no plate charge, no artwork charge. Payment is 50% on the purchase order and 50% before dispatch, ex-Noida, PAN India.

If it helps to start from a number rather than a product, the range is organised by budget: under ₹500, under ₹1,000, under ₹2,000, under ₹5,000 and under ₹20,000.
