Every HYV bottle and tumbler is double-wall vacuum insulated — that is the construction that holds temperature, because a vacuum has no air for heat to travel through. Cold retention runs up to 24 hours and hot up to 12, depending on the model, how full the bottle is, ambient temperature and how often the lid is opened.
HYV makes BIS-certified bottles, certified to IS 17526:2021, India’s national standard for stainless steel vacuum insulated containers.

Food-grade 304 (18/8) stainless steel, double-wall vacuum insulated. There is no plastic liner and no BPA question — steel is inert, so it does not leach and does not carry taste between uses. Lids use a removable silicone gasket so the seal can be cleaned properly.

Questions people ask
Will it fit under the office water cooler? The 750 ml models will. The 1.2 L tumblers are taller and may need the tap at an angle — worth measuring before you commit if the cooler is the only refill point.
Can I use the same bottle for coffee and water? Physically yes, practically no. Coffee oils stay in a gasket and turn up in your water two days later. The 600 ml ChillSip and DailySip exist so the coffee has its own vessel.
It smells after a few weeks. What went wrong? The gasket. It comes out — most people never take it out, which is why an office bottle is the one that develops a smell first. Replacement gaskets and lids are stocked separately.
