Steel Water Bottles
Frequently Asked Questions
Every HYV bottle is double-wall vacuum insulated, which is the construction that actually holds temperature — there is no air gap for heat to travel through. Cold retention runs up to 24 hours and hot up to 12, depending on the model, how full the bottle is, ambient temperature and how often you open the lid.
Yes. HYV's certified range spans both bottles and tumblers — the 1L LuxeSip, LuxeFlow and MagFlex, the 750ml CoreFlow and the 600ml ChillSip — all tested to BIS IS 17526:2021, India's national standard for stainless steel vacuum insulated containers. That means the insulation performance and the materials were laboratory tested rather than simply claimed. BIS is granted per product, which is why the certified models are named here rather than left vague.
Bottles run 750ml (CoreFlow, FlipFlow, SlimPro, DualFlow, SnapSip), 1 litre (LuxeSip, LuxeFlow, DualFlow 1L, MagFlex 1L) and 2 litres (MaxFlow). Tumblers are 470ml (OpenFlow), 600ml (ChillSip, DailySip) and 1.2L (HydroFlow, HydroPro, HydroMax, HydroPop).
Food-grade 304 (18/8) stainless steel with double-wall vacuum insulation. There is no plastic liner and no BPA question — steel is inert, so it does not leach and does not carry taste between uses. Lids use a removable silicone gasket so the seal can be cleaned properly.
A sipper cap suits desk and meeting use, a wide chug cap is faster to drink from at the gym, an inbuilt straw means you never tilt the bottle, and the MagSafe magnetic lids snap to a phone mount. DualFlow gives you a chug spout and a sipper in one lid if you would rather not choose.

"Steel bottle" covers two very different products, and the difference is the whole point. A single-wall steel bottle is one layer of metal: light, cheap, and it will sweat in your bag and go warm within the hour. A double-wall vacuum bottle has two walls with the air drawn out between them, so heat has nothing to travel through.
Everything here is the second kind, in 304 (18/8) food-grade stainless steel — the grade that does not rust, does not leach and does not carry taste between uses. There is no plastic liner and no inner coating to wear off.
Five models carry BIS IS 17526:2021, the Indian standard written specifically for vacuum insulated stainless steel containers, which means the retention figures were laboratory tested rather than printed on a label. Sizes run 750 ml to 2 litres, with sipper, chug, quick-flip and MagSafe magnetic lids.
