Wedding Return Gifts — Engraved Steel Bottles in Bulk
Wedding return gifts that do not get thrown away. An insulated steel bottle, engraved with the couple's names and the date, at ₹489–₹645 per guest excluding GST on orders of 100 or more. Every bottle can carry a different name at no extra cost.
Most return gifts fail the same test: the guest is polite about it in the hall and leaves it in a cupboard. A vacuum insulated bottle is one of the few things in that price band people actually use — which is the only measure of a return gift that matters.
What it costs per guest, including GST
Trade prices are quoted excluding GST across this industry, which is how a ₹489 quote becomes ₹577 at the invoice. For a wedding you are usually paying that GST rather than claiming it back, so here is the number that actually leaves your account. Insulated steel drinkware is HSN 9617 at 18% GST.

Laser engraving is included at these prices — there is no separate setup or per-name charge. Minimum 25 units per model. Smaller guest lists are priced a tier higher: 25–49 units is ₹539 on the OpenFlow and ₹609 on the CoreFlow, ex-GST.
Where this sits: comfortably inside a "under ₹1,000 per guest" budget, and inside "under ₹500" only if you are quoting ex-GST or ordering above a thousand units. We would rather say that than let you find out at the invoice.
What gets engraved
Laser engraving cuts into the steel, so it cannot peel or fade — which matters for an object meant to remind someone of a day years later. It is single-tone by nature: the mark is the colour of the etched metal, not a colour you choose.
- Both names and the date — the most common, and the one that ages best. Short is better; the engraving area is smaller than people expect.
- Each guest's own name — variable-data engraving is standard, so all 200 bottles can be different at no extra per-unit cost. This turns a return gift into a place setting.
- A monogram or a motif — send vector artwork. Strokes thinner than about a millimetre close up when engraved, and we flag that on the mockup rather than after the run.
- Full colour or a photograph — that is UV printing rather than engraving. It reproduces gradients and photographic detail, and it wears with use where engraving does not.
The models that suit a return gift
CoreFlow is the one we would pick: 750 ml, a proper bottle rather than a tumbler, and one of five models holding BIS IS 17526:2021 — the Indian standard for vacuum insulated stainless steel, which is laboratory tested rather than stated. OpenFlow is the lowest per-head figure. ChillSip suits a smaller, smarter gift. The certified five are LuxeSip, LuxeFlow, MagFlex, CoreFlow and ChillSip; the other models are not certified, and we would rather name them than imply the certificate covers everything.

Timing, which is where wedding orders actually fail
Engraving is a production step, not packaging, and a wedding date does not move. Allow four to six weeks from the day the name list is final.
- 25–100 units: roughly 7–14 days production, plus 2–3 days delivery.
- 100–500 units: roughly 12–18 days, plus delivery.
- Stock colours only. Eleven shades dispatch from stock; a brand-matched colour is a 1,000-unit commitment and 60–90 days, which almost never suits a wedding.
- Courier networks congest through the wedding and festive seasons. A date in October or November needs more runway than the same order in February.
Two practical things that save orders: take the name list as a written spreadsheet rather than over chat, because that is where spellings go wrong and engraved items cannot be reallocated; and order a small buffer of un-engraved stock, because guest lists move in the last fortnight.

What is the minimum order for wedding return gifts? 25 units per model. You can split an order across models — 100 bottles can be four different ones at 25 each — though the per-unit price is set by the quantity of each model, not the order total.
