Drinkware for Hotels, Restaurants, Cafés & Gyms

Institutional buyers have a different problem from gifting buyers. The product is used by people who did not choose it, washed commercially rather than by hand, and replaced from inventory rather than repurchased. What matters is how it behaves in year two.

Where insulated steel fits in a venue

Hotel rooms and suites. A branded bottle in the room is kept rather than discarded, which makes it marketing that leaves with the guest instead of laundry that stays.

Gyms and wellness. Members refilling at a station need something that survives being dropped on rubber flooring and cleans properly after electrolytes.

Cafés and restaurants. Takeaway cups as a retail line, or staff drinkware that does not look tired after a season.

Bulk water bottles for hotels

Hotels buy drinkware for three different jobs and they are rarely the same order. In-room bottles replace the single-use plastic on the nightstand and are the most visible sustainability change a property can make without renovating anything. Gym, spa and poolside need something that survives being dropped on tile and does not sweat onto furniture. Banquets and conferences want a branded bottle at each place setting that a delegate takes home, which turns a consumable into a marketing asset.

The property-specific problem is not the bottle, it is the lid. Lids and silicone gaskets go missing at a rate nobody forecasts, and a property that cannot replace one ends up retiring good bottles. We stock lids, gaskets and boots as separate lines for exactly that reason, so a housekeeping order for 50 replacement lids is a normal thing to place rather than a favour.

Bulk starts at 25 units per SKU, in 470 ml to 2 litres. In-stock colours dispatch in 3 to 5 working days; a colour matched to the property's palette is 60 to 90 days and needs to be planned against the season rather than the month.

Cafe tumblers in bulk

Cafe tumbler programmes are the most common HORECA order we take, and they run one of two ways. As a retail line, an insulated tumbler with your cafe's mark sits at the counter and sells at a margin no disposable cup earns. As staff drinkware, it survives a shift, a dishwasher and a dropped-on-tile morning.

Bulk cafe tumblers start at 25 units per SKU, in 470 ml, 600 ml and 1.2 L, with straw, turn-and-sip and sipper lids. Laser engraving is done in-house, so a branded run ships on the same lead time as an unbranded one — 3 to 5 working days against stock rather than the 60 to 90 days a made-to-order colourway needs.

Replacement lids and boots are stocked separately, which matters more for a cafe than a gifting buyer: the lid is the part that goes missing, and replacing one is cheaper than replacing the tumbler.

Offices and co-working. Issued once to each member rather than a rolling cost in disposables.

Hospitals and institutions. Steel holds no flavour and has no plastic liner to degrade.

The three questions institutional buyers actually ask

"Will it survive a commercial dishwasher?" The steel body will. Silicone gaskets age fastest under repeated hot cycles — which is why the next question matters more than most suppliers admit.

"Can I replace a lid without replacing the bottle?" Yes. Replacement lids are stocked as their own items, so a lid lost in a dishwasher does not retire a bottle from your inventory. Ask most drinkware suppliers this and the answer is a new bottle.

"Can you supply the same SKU again in eighteen months?" We manufacture the range ourselves at 50,000+ pieces a month rather than buying it in, so continuity is a production decision rather than an import gamble.

Specification notes for venues

Choose a sealed lid. In a venue, a leaking vessel is someone else's problem to clean. Straw and open lids belong on a desk, not in circulation.

Wide mouths clean better. Anything a brush cannot reach will eventually smell, and in a commercial setting that becomes a complaint rather than an inconvenience.

Certification is worth having on an invoice. Five models hold BIS IS 17526:2021 — LuxeSip, LuxeFlow, MagFlex, CoreFlow and ChillSip — which matters if your procurement process asks what the performance claim rests on.

Engraving beats printing at volume. A printed logo on a bottle going through commercial washing will not last the contract. Engraved marks are part of the steel.

Terms

Minimum 25 units. Engraving included. Production 7–10 business days plus 2–3 days delivery. Samples available at retail price so you can put one through your own dishwasher before committing — which we would encourage.
