What to check before buying anything at this price
Ask whether it is vacuum insulated or just double-walled. Two walls with air between them is a far weaker insulator and is legally describable as double-walled. The words to look for are vacuum insulated.
Ask which specific models are certified. BIS IS 17526:2021 is granted per product, so a brand can hold it on some models and not others. A supplier who cannot answer at model level is not close enough to the product.
Do the ice test on the sample. Fill it, seal it, leave it twenty minutes on a dry table. A genuine vacuum bottle stays dry on the outside. This catches the single most common substitution in the category.
