What each capability actually requires
Insulated steel is the most demanding: deep-drawing presses, laser welding to join inner and outer shells, a vacuum pumping and sealing station, and leak/retention testing. The vacuum station is the capital-intensive step and the one that separates real manufacturers from assemblers.
Single-wall steel needs forming and finishing only — a much lower barrier, which is why the market is crowded and quality varies widely.
