They differ in capacity, weight and price, and one of them has a feature the other does not have at all. The SnapSip: 750 ml, and a base that does something else
The SnapSip is built around your phone rather than around your desk. The magnetic base snaps to MagSafe car mounts, phone holders and MagSafe-standard rings, and there is a retractable selfie stick integrated into the base. At 750 ml it is the everyday carry size — it fits a bag and a cup holder without thinking about it, and it is the cheaper of the two.
It is the same double-wall vacuum steel construction as the 1 litre, rated to the same retention figures.
The MagFlex 1L: the one, and the bigger one
The MagFlex 1L is the full-size version of the magnetic idea: a litre of capacity without giving up the magnetic base. It ships with one magnetic chug lid that seals with a click.
One detail worth knowing before you buy: it comes with the chug lid only. If you want a straw, the HYV Flip-top Sipper Lid is sold separately and fits the MagFlex 1L.
What the MagSafe base actually does — and does not
On both bottles the magnetic base is for mounting. It aligns with MagSafe accessories so the bottle snaps to a car mount or holder. It does not charge a phone, and neither bottle claims to. If you have seen magnetic bottles described as wireless chargers, that is not what is happening here.
The practical difference between the two is weight. A full 1 litre is heavier than a full 750 ml, so the MagFlex pairs more naturally with a stable desk or car mount, while the lighter SnapSip is easier to move around with while still mounted.
Which to choose
If you want one bottle to cover a full working day without a refill, take the MagFlex 1L. If you want the magnetic mount at the everyday 750 ml size, want the selfie stick, or want to spend less, take the SnapSip. They are not a small and a large of the same bottle, so "which size" is the wrong question — the right one is whether you are buying for capacity, or for carry size and the base.
