Best 750ml Coffee Mug Brand in India (2026)

750 ml is not a coffee size. An Indian cup of coffee is 150 to 200 ml, so 750 ml is four or five cups, and hot coffee at that volume goes cold or gets poured away long before it is finished. The size exists for two drinks it genuinely suits: iced coffee, where a third of the volume is ice and the liquid portion is a normal large drink, and sharing — a flask of coffee poured into two or three cups. If you want a hot coffee you drink from directly, 350 to 600 ml is the honest range. HYV has no 750 ml mug; its coffee vessels are 600 ml at ₹1,199 and the 750 ml pieces are sealed bottles from ₹899.

Key Facts

  • An Indian cup of coffee is 150-200 ml, so 750 ml is four to five cups.
  • Hot coffee at 750 ml is poured away or goes cold — the volume is wrong for direct drinking.
  • 750 ml suits iced coffee (a third is ice) and sharing from a flask into cups.
  • HYV has no 750 ml mug: coffee vessels are 600 ml at ₹1,199; 750 ml pieces are sealed bottles from ₹899.
  • A 750 ml filled vessel is about 1.1 kg, which is why the size lives on a desk or in a car.

The arithmetic nobody does before buying

Pour your normal coffee into a measuring jug once. Most people in India find they drink 150 to 200 ml at a time — a standard cup, a strong filter coffee, a cutting chai is less again.

Against that, 750 ml is four to five servings. Which means one of three things happens:

  • You fill it and drink a quarter, and the rest goes cold. The thermal rating does not save you, because nobody wants hour-old coffee however warm it is.
  • You fill it a quarter full, in which case the vessel holds three-quarters air — and air is what carries heat away, so a quarter-full 750 ml vessel loses temperature faster than a full 350 ml one.
  • You pour from it into cups, which is a flask use rather than a mug use.

The third is the legitimate one, and it is a different product: a sealed flask you pour from, not a lidded mug you drink from.

Iced coffee. Fill a 750 ml vessel with ice and the liquid is about 450 to 500 ml, which is a large cold drink rather than an absurd hot one. Cold coffee also tolerates time: at an hour it is still a cold coffee, where hot coffee at an hour is a different drink.

Sharing. A 750 ml sealed flask of coffee poured into two or three cups is the format sold for travel and picnics, and it works. The requirement is a lid you pour from cleanly rather than one you sip through.

In the HYV range, 750 ml exists as sealed bottles: CoreFlow ₹899 (screw sip), FlipFlow ₹999, SlimPro ₹999, DualFlow Slim ₹1,299 and DualFlow 750 ₹1,499. All are rated 24 hours cold and 12 hours hot. None of them is a mug, and none pretends to be. Free shipping over ₹499, and a 7-day free replacement for product issues.

What to buy if you wanted a big coffee mug

Work backwards from how long you take.

  • Under 20 minutes: a ceramic mug, 300-350 ml. Nothing insulated improves it and it is the nicest thing to drink from.
  • 20 to 90 minutes: a lidded insulated tumbler, 350-600 ml. This is the one-fill morning, and the lid matters more than the walls.
  • A working day of sipping: you are describing water, not coffee. Coffee that old is unpleasant whatever the vessel.

HYV's answer in the middle band is the ChillSip or DailySip, 600 ml at ₹1,199, rated 8 hours cold and 6 hours hot. The 1.2 litre tumblers at ₹1,299 to ₹1,699 exist for water and iced drinks, not for hot coffee.

Why the size is sold anyway

Two reasons, and knowing them makes the listings easier to read.

Ounce conversion. 24 US fluid ounces is 710 ml and 25 oz is 740. A product designed for an export market lands near 750 ml and gets sold in India at that number. The American large-coffee habit is a genuinely larger serving than the Indian one, so the size makes sense where it came from.

The Stanley effect. The large lidded tumbler became a visible object, and visibility drove capacity upwards across the category. A 750 ml or 1.2 litre tumbler reads as the thing people have seen, which is a legitimate reason to want one and not a thermal or practical one.

Neither reason is dishonest. They are just not reasons to put hot coffee in it. HYV makes BIS-certified bottles.

Disclosure

HYV sells five 750 ml bottles and no 750 ml mug, and this page says the size is wrong for hot coffee — which costs us nothing, because we do not make one, and that is worth stating plainly. The measuring-jug test is the whole argument and it takes one morning to run on your own coffee. HYV makes BIS-certified bottles.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is 750 ml too big for a coffee mug?

For hot coffee, yes — it is four to five Indian cups. It works for iced coffee, where a third of the volume is ice, and for pouring into cups from a flask.

Why does a half-full insulated mug go cold faster?

Because the empty space is air, and air carries heat away far better than liquid. A full small vessel beats a half-full large one.

What size coffee mug should I buy?

300-350 ml ceramic if you finish in twenty minutes; a lidded 350-600 ml insulated tumbler if your cup survives an hour.

Does HYV make a 750 ml mug?

No. The 750 ml pieces are sealed bottles from ₹899; the coffee vessels are 600 ml tumblers at ₹1,199.
